Cottage Grove High School

 

TONIGHT the CGHS drama department is opening its final show of the year, CLUE! This show is being directed by Seth Bailey. The play runs April 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th at 7:30pm. Cost is $5 for students and $10 for Adults - cash at the door. Come support all the hard work your fellow students have put into this fun show. SB*

Hey Seniors, deadlines for two of the last major scholarships of the year are coming up. The Larry K. Sharpf and the Renaissance scholarships are both due the first week of May. If you still need more financial aid to fund your future career goals, then don't miss out on these big dollar opportunities.  (note to announcers: Sharpf is pronounced exactly like "sharp" with an "f" on the end) JR 

Spring conferences are next Wednesday and Thursday! Don’t forget to log into PTCFast, which can be found on our website, to schedule a time to meet with your teachers and parents to review your progress. Because of conferences, we will follow a special early release schedule on Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23. There will be no school on Friday, April 24. CH*

Do you have formal clothes sitting in your closet that you don’t wear anymore? Clear some space and help a fellow student at the same time. Cottage Grove High School is hosting a Prom Attire Clothing Drive through May 10th. You can drop off used formal clothing at the main office between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM on any school day. Your donation can help make prom special for everyone. Thanks for your support! CH*

Mark your calendar for CGHS’ Prom, A Night Through the Enchanted Garden! Prom will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 8:00 to 11:00 PM at the Cottage Grove Armory. Tickets will be $30 per person. CH*

Help Cottage Grove High School's Key Club show support for Child Abuse Awareness Month through a Diaper Drive! We are collecting diapers of all sizes and delivering them to agencies that directly work with Cottage Grove families. Diapers can be dropped off at the CGHS main office until May 18. CH*

Varsity and JV softball will be released at lunch to depart at 12:05 for their games at North Marion. Varsity baseball will be released at 1:15 to prepare for their games at home vs. Klamath Union starting at 3 and 5pm. GO LIONS!
